This week we lost one of the greatest icons of our generation Mr. Steve Jobs. A true visionary who lead the largest shift in technology since Microsoft and created a legacy that will last for generations. No matter what your opinion of Jobs, tyrant, mentor, or icon one thing is for sure he found his purpose in life and he lived it fully. Steve Jobs was known for living each day of his life as if it was his last. He was absolutely devoted to his work, and the results of his dedication completely changed modern technology and impacted millions across the globe.

In his commencement address to the University of Stanford’s Class of 2005, Jobs said this:

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

Don’t Settle

No truer words apply directly to the life of an entrepreneur. There are thousands of stories of individuals who struggled or failed countless times before they achieved success.

Their are very few true over night stories success or people who hit the lottery on their first try. The majority of of the success stories are filled with horrors of cars repossessed, homes foreclosed, and massive debt but these are the things that made them stronger. They never settled even in the face of the worst possible circumstances. Jobs faced numerous adversities during his career, including cancer, but he never made excuses or settled in his quest for greatness.

Your Journey

On your journey to achieve your goals you will meet obstacles and defeats, the winds of change will blow on you just as they do on everyone, but if you remain focused you WILL win. The universe responds to action, once you have decided to live your life according to purpose you access the full power of the universe just like Steve Jobs. As an entrepreneur you will become an UNSTOPPABLE force with the POWER to achieve any goal within your vision. So today, chose to be an person of action and if you are already taking action, you too can go to another level! Break free from the mental barriers and self-limiting beliefs and embrace the power that is already available to you once you DECIDE to become your true self.
